Our classes all take place on the second floor of La Petite Ecole, in a beautiful room re-designed to provide an ideal setting for artistic explorations. 

L’expo idéale, description: In this class conducted entirely in French, our students will paint, draw, glue, and curate a visual exhibition of their own at the end of the year. The ideal exhibition curriculum goal is to teach our students to create « in French » a solo show of Hervé Tullet as a long-term project. Just like Hervé Tullet’s books and performances, our workshops will stimulate our students’ five senses, and help them connect with their innate « creative nature ». Our academic objectives are grounded in human brain development, with a particular emphasis on soft skills such as emotional intelligence, metacognition, and proactive behavior.

Le concert idéal, description: In this class conducted entirely in French, our students will compose songs and music with acclaimed French-speaking artists Josephine Ancelle and Remy de Laroque. These long-term La Petite Ecole collaborators have ample experience making music and writing songs with young children and preparing spectacles full of wonders. Children will also be making visual art connected with their musical compositions with our EFNY team to support beautiful shows.
